Teenage Kicks
I told myself I would have no problem living with my parents. I’m older and wiser - and a parent myself. and I’m smart, right? I can spot those old patterns of behaviour and choose not to repeat them. sure!
Ha. My father just criticised my parenting skills and I promptly dived into Lake Sarcasm. He told me to stop being an asshole and I actually said - wait for it - the creativity will astound - ‘It takes one to know one.’
What am I, thirteen?
Well, I was in it up to my neck it it, so I felt obliged to slam the door at this point. I now have the urge to play Rage Against the Machine tapes at high volume while smoking out the window and writing frantically in my diar… Oh.
